The Heft and The Hirsel, Loch Lomond

The Heft and The Hirsel are two luxury Glamping Pods on the Duncan family farm. Each pod has a large secluded deck to enjoy views across Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park. 

The Heft is perfect for a couple, while the Hirsel suits a small family. The Heft has a hot tub while the Hirsel is dog-friendly. 

Each cabin has an en-suite shower and a double bed. Also, you can relax on the deck which features a picnic table and a BBQ area. 

The pods are clean, and comfortable and are kitted out to a high standard. Also, the pod is nice and spacious.

The pods are not far from Drymen, and the Devil’s Pulpit. This is an excellent place to base yourself for exploring the villages of Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park and Stirling.

Loch Lomond Sunset Glamping Pod, Loch Lomond

There is a large patio that contains fairy lights, a hot tub which is sheltered and chairs where you can sit and relax and enjoy the view.

The pod itself is very well equipped and the owners have done an excellent job in making the lodge special to all their guests.

Also, these pods are an excellent place to base yourself for exploring Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park. From the deck, you can enjoy the view across the Scottish mountains and countryside at sunset. 

The Arns Glamping Pods, Bridge of Allan

There are four types of pods, one of which is disabled friendly and pets are allowed into some of the pods. Each pod features a kitchenette, microwave, fridge and garden views and is suitable for up to families of four.

The pods are fantastic and they are surrounded by fabulous animals. Also, the pods feel very secluded and there are BBQ areas. 

The Arns Glamping Pods on the outskirts of the Bridge of Allan near Stirling. These pods are a great place to base yourself for exploring Stirlingshire, the Orchil Hills and Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park. 

There are cycling paths nearby, also you can enjoy golf, hiking and walking in the local area. Overall, this is a perfect place to relax and unwind.

Kersebrock Kabins, Kersebrock Farm

Kersebrock Cabins are located in central Scotland. The three pods are located in an amazing unspoilt area, perfect for a night away.

Kersebrock Kabins is located on the outskirts of Falkirk. This is a good place to base yourself for exploring the Forth Valley.

The Secret Hideaway, Glencorse House

The Secret Hideaway Glamping Pods are located outside Penicuik. These Glamping Pods are one of the most modern types of pods that are in Scotland. 

This is the perfect place to unwind. The pods are luxury lakeside retreats hidden away at the foot of the Pentland Hills.

You can relax in the Scandinavian hot tub, watch Netflix on the TV or chill out on the sun terrace. Each unit contains a fridge, coffee machine, a kettle and a private bathroom with bathrobes and sleeps up to two people.

The Glamping Pods are not far from the Pentlands Hills Regional Park. You can also head out on the many woodland walks, and cycling tracks and into Glencorse House Estate. 

Also, the pods are not far from Edinburgh and a small town called Roslin where you can walk around Roslin Park or view the historic Roslin Chapel.

Jerusalem Farm Pods, Tranent

The Jerusalem Farm Pods are luxury Glamping Pods that are located near Haddington in East Lothian. The site is not far from the historical capital city of Edinburgh and it is a perfect place to travel into the city or explore the surroundings. 

Also, award-winning beaches, championship golf courses and large regional parks. The famous ruins of Tantallon Castle and the ‘Bridge to Nowhere’ is a short drive from the farm.

The Jerusalem Farm Pods are not far from the Pentlands Regional Park, there are lovely views from the pods across to the Lammermuir Hills. Each pod is equipped with a flat-screen TV, a kitchenette, a microwave and a toaster.

The wooden pods are peaceful and therapeutic, a perfect place to get away and wind down. Also, the accommodation is a very comfortable little space with all the essential facilities, overall it makes a lovely stay.

Braeview Glamping, Limsdaine Road Coldingham

The pods are lovely and are situated in a great location. Also, the pods are well-equipped, clean and comfortable. 

There are six pods available at Braeview Glamping, two of which have an outdoor hot tub. Each pod is fitted with a patio, TV and private bathroom.

Braeview Glamping is located two miles from Coldingham and St Abbs. This is perfect for exploring the eastern coast of the Scottish Borders. 

You can relax on Coldingham Bay or walk around St Abbs Head National Nature Reserve. In addition, you can head to one of the local restaurants in Eyemouth. 

Craigend Farm Holiday Pods, The Curly Coo

Craigend Farm Holiday Pods are located outside the town of Dumfries in Dumfries and Galloway. You can use the pods as a base for exploring the South West Coastal 300.

The pods are beautiful, very clean and there was a welcome basket on arrival. Each pod is equipped very well including Bluetooth speakers, a flatscreen TV, underfloor heating, BBQ facilities and outdoor chairs.

The ‘Curly Coo‘ is a larger accommodation which sleeps up to four people. The ‘Woolly Sheep‘ is a smaller pod which sleeps two people. 

You can sit outside on the terrace and admire the nice mountain views. One of my favourite tourist attractions in Dumfries and Galloway, Caelaverock Castle, is nearby (10 kilometres away). 

Arranview Holiday Park Luxury Glamping Pods and Lodges

The Arranview Holiday Park has a combination of luxury Glamping Pods and lodges. There are six luxury Glamping Pods located along the lakeside in the holiday park.

The pods on offer are more homely compared to the other options on this list. Each studio is equipped with a stovetop, a fridge, kitchenware and a private bathroom with a walk-in shower and a secluded hot tub on the decking.

Arranview Holiday Park is located in Ayrshire, the nearest town is in Kilmarnock. The holiday park is located in Ayrshire and is the perfect place to stay while driving around The Coig. 

On a clear day, you can see as far out as the Isle of Arran.

Kings Cave Glamping, Tormore

Kings Cave Glamping features five lovely wooden pods, set in Torbeg on the west coast of the Isle of Arran. The accommodation includes a fully equipped kitchenette, a microwave and a toaster, also, there is a private bathroom. 

Visitors can enjoy nearby hiking and cycling, or you can just simply relax in the garden. The accommodation is close to the Kings Cave hike, Machrie Moor Standing Stones and Bruces Cave.

Also, it is a perfect place to sit and watch the sunset. Families and pets are welcome, additionally, there is a hot tub available on-site for private hire.

Devon River Glamping Pods, Fishcross

The Devon River Glamping Pods is located outside Alloa in Clackmannanshire. The pods are located near the central belt and are not far from many attractions.

The pods are equipped with a kitchenette, including a fridge and a microwave, and there is a private bathroom with a shower. Outside, there is a terrace with garden views. 

Dollar Glen, Alva Glen, Tillicoultry and the Forth Bridges are a short drive away. Also, you can join the Fife Coastal Path or join the Forth Valley Tourist Route.

The location is wonderful, you can watch the horses in the front fields. Also, you can relax and enjoy the peace and quiet.

Highland Gateway Glamping, Broadcarse Farm

There are two anthropods available at the Highland Gateway Glamping. The pods are named after the Ochil Hills, ‘Ben Cleugh’ and ‘Whitewisp’.

The anthropods are ultra-modern, super clean and so luxurious. The views are stunning and there are lots of walks nearby. 

You can unwind after a long day exploring in the hot tub, chill and admire the views from the private patio. 

The Highland Gateway Glamping is located near Clackmannan and is a short drive away from some of my favourite attractions including the Pineapple and the ruins of Dunmore House, the village of Culross and the famous equine sculptures – The Kelpies. 

Iona Pods, Isle of Iona

Iona Pods is located on the east coast of the Isle of Iona. The comfy pods offer a unique base to explore Iona and the surrounding islands.

Each of the small cosy pods contains a microwave, fridge, electric hob, kettle and kitchenware. The toilet facilities are shared in a clean shower block.

Outside the pods are a small patio area and there are excellent views of the Sound of Iona. The Iona Abbey is only a 12-minute walk away from the pods. 

Loch Shiel Luxury Pod, Acharacle

Loch Shiel Pods offers accommodation with lake views. The pods are located on the south side of Loch Shiel and there are fantastic views of the loch and surrounding hills.

Also, the pods are equipped with a bathroom and walk-in shower, a kitchenette, a double bed and a sofa bed.

Set in a gorgeous part of the North West Highlands, the pods are not far from Glenfinnan Viaduct and Morar Sands.
